History

The story of Centare is how we’ve grown in both size and how we work with our clients since we opened our doors in 1999. We have flourished in a tough economy by exceeding customer expectations and always pushing ourselves to stay ahead of the curve. We are agile, and this has been essential to our success, and to the success of our client partners.

We started small. Centare was founded in 1999 in Brookfield, WI by Dave and Becky Glyzewski, soon joined by Ed Chaltry. Built on the principles of strategic solutions, technical innovation, and exceptional client service, Centare quickly emerged as a leader and innovator in software development and client solutions.

In 2000, Centare topped $1 million in annual revenues, and was named a Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) Future 50 company each of the three years they were eligible for nomination.

In 2003, Centare became a Microsoft Certified Partner, and in 2007 achieved Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status. In 2008, Centare’s revenues exceeded $5 million; the same year, the company was invited into the Inner Circle ALM program (now known as ALM Competency).

In 2011 Centare was a top three finalist for Microsoft Partner of the Year. Centare continues to grow at a robust pace, with 2011 revenues exceeding $10 million. We currently have offices in Chicago, IL,  Brookfield, WI and Madison, WI.

“Centare helps companies transform the way they approach technology, to build better software now and in the future.”
