MILWAUKEE – Centare Group CEO Dave Glyzewski accepted the 2008 Bravo! Entrepreneur Award as chosen by the Small Business Times. The Bravo! Entrepreneur Awards are given annually to Southeastern Wisconsin’s ten most dynamic and innovative business leaders. Bravo! Entrepreneur Award winners were honored on Thursday, May 1 during a luncheon at the BizTech Expo held at the Wisconsin Exposition Center at State Fair Park.
“It is flattering to be chosen by the Small Business Times as a Bravo Award winner,” says Glyzewski. “Knowing the criteria for selection, this award is recognition of Centare Group as a leader in service and innovation within Southeastern Wisconsin’s IT industry and the larger business community. To be included within this group is definitely an honor”
Small Business Times Executive Editor, Steve Jagler, introduced Glyzewski and other award winners to an audience of several hundred business professionals. Jagler highlighted Glyzewski’s commitment to employee continuity and customer loyalty as Centare Group’s leading differentiators in the information technology industry. Glyzewski then addressed Centare Group’s employment philosophy of hiring permanent consultants as opposed to contract workers.
Glyzewski founded Centare Group in January of 1999. Centare Group has since grown into an award-winning software development and information technology (IT) consulting firm. Headquartered in Brookfield, Centare Group boasts a staff of 35 IT professionals and a client list that includes Fortune 1000 companies in and around Southeastern Wisconsin.

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett provided opening remarks for the luncheon emphasizing the need for Milwaukee and its surrounding suburbs to promote themselves as a home to innovative businesses and professionals. He recognized the “job creators” on the podium and in the audience. According to Mayor Barrett, Milwaukee is “open for business.”
