Software Support Developer - Development Center - Brookfield, WI

  • Location: Brookfield, WI

We are currently looking to add a Software Support Developer to our agile software delivery practice. This team member will manage support and maintenance of software that Centare teams have either delivered to clients or over which Centare has assumed ownership. Responsibilities and activities will include interacting with clients on a regular basis, issue triage, and maintenance-focused development.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients and other users of our software
  • Diagnose and triage issue reports from clients/users
  • Suggest and implement strategies for improving support-related processes
  • Work with internal teams to support various operations
  • Manage environment information for (potentially) dozens of production applications

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Experience in Web Development
  • ASP.NET MVC Web Forms
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a client-facing role
  • Strong customer service orientation

Desired experience in all or some of the following:

  • HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • PHP
  • Microsoft SQL Server & MySQL Server
  • CMS development including Kentico, Drupal, or WordPress a plus
  • Web server (IIS, Apache, nginx, etc.) configuration/management
  • TFS, GitHub or other source control platforms
  • Extra Bonus: Pretty good (but not too good) at Left 4 Dead 2
